Giant AC shock upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade the shock on my Giant AC to get rid of the RockShox Pro Deluxe that came on it. I mainly ride agressive XC, and some freeride. I'm looking at the Stratos El Jefe Sr. Any thoughts?

no good. kindof a dh shock with a remote resi if i recall. the later ac's (like mine) came with Swinger 4 ways which would be much better for the xc/fr stuff. the platform is soo nice when you actually have to pedal cause otherwise the glorified single pivot bobs like crazy.

look into swingers, swinger airs, 5th elements, or even dhx's if you're feeling rich.
