Here is a pic I took of my buddy hitting a 20' gap (not pinkbike feet).
What do you think? The lighting was horrble under the trees and no sun.

It looks like a cool place with those leafless trees.

Are they leafless trees or treeless leaves?

niiiiceee....

it would be a bit better if you could see the take off a bit better in the pic, but definitely a nice gap.

Very cool picture. It looks like that movie Sleepy Hollow.

yea it took sooooo long to take all those leaves out of the trees and put them on the ground....I will NEVER do that again just to get a cool pic.:)
Just Jokin'
The trees this time of year can be boring...so you have to be creative...it was fun building the stunt and watching someone hit it tough.

I think that is the most rewarding thing in mountain biking....scoping a line that didn't exist at all. and then working your ass off to make it rideable...and then witnessing someone enjoy the crap out of it. GOOD TIMES.
I Highly recomend it.

I once spent half a day digging, watering and shaping a transition to a sick drop at my friends house. We had all been talking how we needed to get it done. So...one Saturday, while he was out of town, I put in the sweat and time. He was so stoked! When he got home, he knew exactly who had done it and called me up.

He has moved since then and we had to tear down the stunts. That transition is still there though!

You need pungi sticks or piranha in case you come up short, that gap is way too safe.

yea...making the gap is not a big deal you can come up pretty short and still be ok...however the thing you don't see in the pic is that you are immediately thrown into a burm that takes you to the right...and you have to dodge a tree right in the middle of the burm about 20 feet from the landing. so sticking the landing under control is the hardest part of the entire stunt. in the summer time there will be enough vegitation that you wont be able to see the landing from the take-off.

I'd hit that.
