hey guys, i am getting a new bike this spring and want to know what you think about the parts list. i have been riding the same chameleon w/marzocchi atom race forks for the past 5 years. during that time i rode alot, just havent picked up a mtb magazine. THE only thing that i have got new was SS cranks and rear wheel. here is the new list,

frame - evil sovereign (reg)
fork - Pike (with upgraded firm spring for my 200lb's)
wheels, rear - surly rear wheel/salsa delgado rims
front - DT classic 340/FR6.1d
brakes - hfx-mag 6" (6 bolt, 74mm post mount, 160mm rotors)
cranks - truvative SS
pedals - tioga pro
headset - orbit X
stem - Raceface diabolus (50mm)
bars - raceface diabolus
chain - scram
seatpost - salsa
tires - k-rads

what size seatpost clamp should i get? the seat post is 31.6mm.

i get a really good deal through Quality Bike supplies, so besides the frame everything else is from Quality

sounds like a good build.... as far as seat post clamp wouldn't that already be on the frame?

Chaces are the clamp you will need is a 35mm, but that depends on the frame. I would also look for a stouter hub than the surly. Look at an atom lab or something along those lines.

What exactly do you intend to ride with it?.
It´s a versitile frame.

Edit: Oh, and how much money are you willing to spend.
