Who has built a rack inside of their SUV?
This doesnt sound like too complicated an issue, but my bike has a pike on it with a Maxle. There is no way the bike fits with the front wheel on, so what kind of holder, adapter, bracket could I use to hold the bike upright inside there?
I parted with my back seat long ago, so I have all the cargo space, I just need some ideas.
Anyone?

w3rd.
Thats exactly what i was looking for. Thanks mang!
dang, with my friends cherokee we just take the front wheel off, slam the seats, fold down the rear seats, and put bungees on the seatbelts to help hold the bikes on either side of the vehicle. We end up with plenty of space to put gear in between em.
We never have problems with them moving much or tearing up the interior.

Its not the interior im worried about. When I take off my front wheel, the pike positions the brake caliper as the lowest point, so that it is hitting the ground, and the fork is not level. I do not want to wreck the brake, and I also would like an even surface for strapping down.
