View Full Version : what the heck does this mean?!! error message

ever since i installed my new video card my medal of honor pacific assault game hasn't worked. as soon as i click the icon that sets the image defaults before play i get this error:

it worked fine before...well, it played slow as crap but it still played, now i can't even start it. i uninstalled then reinstalled it and still the same problem. any ideas?

Ah... I think there's an ATI driver tangent in one of the threads... I'd try for a look on one of the gaming sites for a hacked driver.

Damn it's been a while. Tom's HW and Anandtech are good general sites. Hardocp is a good O/C site, FiringSquad in the only game site I can recall off the top of my head...

Uninstall MOH.

Completely uninstall the ATI driver with:

https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/cat-uninstaller.exe

Reinstall the latest ATI catalyst driver

Reinstall MOH.

Driver problems with games often require you to uninstall both the game and the driver.

This is why I don't deal with ATI, by the way :mumble:

try to uninstall the old driver with the ati unistaller. use the driver that came with the card. then try the latest.
