Does anyone know of any free multi-platform encryption utilities for USB thumb drives? Windows, Linux, Mac platforms. Not really looking for any beta products - something tested from a reputable source.

Might suggest that you check out a USB drive with hardware encoding, otherwise transfer speeds tend to suck. Lexar makes a secure JumpDrive with hardware encoding.

Thanks for the info. I already have a Cruzer mini 1GB with the CruzerLock encryption software on it, but it's for the pre-existing Kingston drives we have here at work. Some users have permission to take work home with them, so as you know, this is a bit of a security risk. They tend to lose these small drives fairly often. As we purchase new drives to replace the lost or broken ones - we are getting the exact ones you mentioned.
