Post count gone down?

Hmm........the other day I had like 1700 posts in my post counter, now I'm down to 1300 in something? LOL is the post counter like Cingular and their rollover minutes where it deletes the oldest minutes?

Just letting Ridemonkey know that I think something's wrong with the post counting. Not like I care but just as it's an issue.
