Titles evolve naturally from the process of posting, as evidenced by the high post counts of those that have "custom" titles. There's a very clear fossil record, and it's pretty preposterous to think that there's any "intelligent" design behind them.

That actually did happen to me. Well, some of it anyway. I never realised that I could blame Quantum Theory. Who was that? Heisenberg? Bloody electrons, more trouble than they're worth.
