There is a pretty cool place to ride called the T.O.E. in Lakeland which I think is about is about 30 minutes from Tampa. A membership is required to ride there though. It has been in rough shape over the summer but there has a been a lot of "re-modeling" going on over the last month or so.

Well Salami covered it pretty good.
Whats new is that the TOE is undergoing a face lift and they are redoing jumpland and their stuntland is fricking sick!

North of Tampa is a place called santos (about 1 hour) that has a big drop (17-20 foot)and a few medium (10") and smallish real drops. IMBA just took control of the freeride area and is or about to redo the stunt trails and jump area.
Tampa is aight in my book.
