Anyone into windsurfing? My neighbor is moving and wants to give his equipment away. That's right, free. Board, sail, and what looks to be carbonfiber, uhh, post things. He's outta here on Saturday. You have to pick it up either at his place or mine. I'm blocks from Accotink park.

I have no idea. :)
My neighbor saw that I was "outdoorsy" and thought I might want it. I really don't have time for another hobby, but told him I knew of a lot of "outdoorsy" folks that might be interested.

yes i can see where that might appear a touch esoteric :D
i rattled off the brand, length, volume of the board, and then the size in area and make/model name of my 2 sails.

yeh i windsurf sometimes
my dad and i got into it a few years back and we surf over the summer at our river house
we have 2 boards: beginers board and a more experienced racing type of board
a carbon fiber mast
standard boom
and two sails: a 7.3 and 6.8
its a lot of fun once you get the hang of it which isnt hard to get
i learned at VA beach so i was really windy and its a lot of fun you should check out VA beach for windsurfing, there is a cool shop there and they are pretty friendly too. and alot of people windsurf there
