How would a steelhead do for ds and 4x? Would that just be a dumb idea? Or should I beef up my jekyll and race that? (that's what Cedric rode before the Prophet)

steelheads are a bit heavy, but if you're comfortable with it.....

You could run your Jekyll or just buy a Prophet 4X. They are super sweet and you will like it 10x's better then your Jekyll. Look into the Azonic DS-1.

Steelheads have a real steep HA{head angle}.
Some riders love it. I personally hate it.

Steel heads=shyt
Their so mass produced that its a "hit or miss" situation. Don't get a steelhead

yeah seriously, complete hit or miss. i know people who snapped the frame with a little 100mm fork on it, and i ran mine for as a fr bike for a while with a 150mm fork on it, and its perfect. so pretty much it's luck whether you get a strong one or not.
