I have yet to find a freeride saddle that fits my liking. I am thinking of changing to a bmx style saddle with a smaller horn. Ive ridden the SDG grand prix, loveseat, and WtB super v or whatever its called. I find myself catching my pants on steep tech sections and causing a relative annoyance. The sdg has probably been the best of my experience. What do you like/ride?

FR = WTB Speed V
DH = Titec Bezerker

I like the stock seat on my haro x2, then again, its nowhere near the comfort of the bmx seat I have on my urban bike. SDG makes some good seats, but I'm not a fan of the ones made of plastic. Weight conservation is a phrase that you should never enter the mind of a freerider/freeride product manufacturer especially when its at the cost of durability. (unless you're one of those riders that never falls)

Thanks for the feedback. The rocket v stealth may be something that I'm interested in, or the berserk. I think that the selle italia flite is the opposite of what Im looking for. I've thought about the sdg fr or ISKY also.

I agree, stock Haro seats are pretty good.

i've had the same odyessy 9mm seat for 3 years on 3 different bikes. Its got thick rails and is comfortable. the thing kicks ass. it is a bmx seat though...

I really like the Titec El Norte, they seem to be just the right size and shape. The rails are pretty beef on them to. I had one it lasted a good long time, most of my riding buds have El Norte's awell and all are diggn' them.

Now I've moved on thou, I recently got one of them fancey new SDG I-beam sadle's and post's. While the sadle does not have the prefect shape of the el Norte, its still very nice to sit on. + the lack of rails is great! so far Im impressed. I really like the HUGE range of adjustments you get with the beam aswell, were talking like any angle and somthing like 4inches of forward/back movment. thumbs up to that.

The I-beam SDG FRD has won me over. its my new fav sadle. the el-norte goes down to second.

i been running a power-V for 2 years now and i love it for everything from XC to saving my stuff on bad no-footers, to controling the back end of my bike on DH and mtx.
