How is the biking in Troutdale?

I may be moving to Troutdale for a job. The company I work for just bought a new place down there and they want me to manage it. I don't know much about the area, but I think is is fairly close to Post Canyon.
Anywhere else I should live, or is Troutdale a decent city? I could live in Portland or east of Troutdale, I don't mind a 30 minute commute, anything beyond that is annoying though.
I have a Norco Shore and like freeriding or aggressive XC. I don't mind climbing as long as it is slow.

Ive had my shore for a few months, I think you saw it at whistler. It is a silver '04.

Living in Troutdale will put you 45 minuts from Post canyon. Nice town!
