It had to be pretty sweet; in the paper (Contra Costa Times) today it said the DH course featured 10,000' of vertical drop on the 2 mile course.



The WTB guys that built the course sure know how to get a lot of DH out of a little hill.

10,000 ft! Wow, that's like three times more than Whistler. I had no idea. It felt like 600, but I guess I was wrong.

HOLY CRAP!

A mile is 5,280 feet, and it's a 10,000ft elevation drop over 2 miles.
Thats a STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP trail. :nuts:

hah. that's funny. yeah, the course required base jumping off the knarly "step down of death" cliff section, so knarly.

maybe they meant 10,000 inches. all in all, i'd say they did a pretty good job with the course. it was interesting.
