New to Phoenix

I'm in Phoenix until the end of October and was looking for some DH/street/park/dirt to ride. I saw some earlier posts, but they seemed to be geared towards XC. Any good spots? IS the DH around here lift or shuttle? And, does anyone ride the bmx sessions at the metro center skate park?

No BMX for me, but there is a shuttle (sometimes) on sundays at South Mountain which offers some nice downhill action. Also there's some nice jumps at Papago. Myself and/or some other Phoenix monkies would be glad to show ya around.
