Does anyone have any experience with primo jewel socket nuts? They would be used on a 10mm bolt on axle. I want to use them in place of a peg.

i use them on my front axle but I run pegs... I like them, lots of thread so it's hard to strip them out.

I'd considered it but they are meant for 3/8 axles.
here's a thread on Hcor:

isn't 3/8, and 10mm the same thing?

sure they're damn close but one is manufatured to a metric spec and the other to an imperial spec, so when toleraces are out you get play, which means stripped threads. That's how i see it anyway.

10mm or 3/8 BMX axles also come in different TPI (teeth per inch). This used to be based on sealed and unsealed hubs, but I don't think the distinction is so clear cut anymore, so watch out.
