Been mostly Sumatra but I roasted the rest of our Ethiopian Yirgacheffe yesterday. It is a nice change of pace especially considering we have 6# of Sumatra left.

Those are Starbucks beans, correct?

Right now I am drinking a morning blend from the Kona Coffee Company. It's like $9 a bag at our local Big Y, but I had a coupon! :D

Dunkin' Donuts!

Just need to get a less dust-producing grinder. Or maybe just clean mine.

I drink french roasted italian from a place in SF called Cafe Cantata, cool older guy roasts his own and supplies a bunch of restaurants, etc., but has a retail outlet. Best in town IMO, but I don't know where the beans are from.

i get some sort of french roast...there's a little shop in town which just opened up and it's great, but they are not open on weekends so the wife's got to plan for weekday trips when we run out.

Blasphemy.

For daily drinking we have some kona from Trader Joes. For those special occasions (when I can afford it) I like Jamaican Blue Mountain. So smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooove.

When the coffee gets much above $3 per pound it doesnt seem to taste as good. Being the tightwad that I am two coffees are worth having around. The first is Sumatra from Costco. Thats $11 for three pounds. The next is Pleasant Hill which is $14.50 for five pounds. This is 100% arabica beans. Its a very mellow coffee, something maybe a high class restaurant might serve.

Currently, a house blend from Coffee Traders in Montana (gift from the girlfriend).

Most mornings regular, Peet's Major Dickason's.

Most evenings decaff, Moka Joe (local roasting company).

I've treated myself to Kona coffee as well, but at over $20 a bag plus shipping, it's just not worth it, no matter how good it is.

Generally, I hate flavored coffees. My girlfriend has gotten me hooked on Cafe L'Orange, from Fresh Market. MMMM, tasty.

And Bushwaker -- Life's too short to drink bad coffee!!! (and not have bling bike parts, either) There's room for both, my brother. :p

Best beans the cost are Folgers Columbian...

Grind 'em, brew 'em and enjoy! They are vastly superior to Starschmucks beans and a helluva lot cheaper!
