Hi,
my friend wants to get a new fork, as his (manitou splice) is dieing like a penguin in a place where a penguin would die really quickly. Such as a desert, or some such similar place.

Anyway, that aside, he was considering a rock shox pike up untill now (which i think was his best choice) but now for some reason he thinks his frame (Avanti Hotdog (http://www.avantibikes.com/bike_lge2.asp?2005_hotdog_black.jpg) ) would work better with a triple clamp fork.

I was just wondering what you guys would recommend for a bike that will be used for dj's, urban, and gratuitous hucking to flat. His ideas thus far have been: Pike, Sherman (probably second hand), Junior t (maybe second hand), Boxxer, or a DJ III.

its not built for a dual crown, dont do it. a dj3 is strong as hell and not to pricey... probably the best bet for him.
