tires for south mountian

hey guys what are the best tire for south mountain. i have a cove g-spot i am building and i want a good all around downhill/trail tire with a 2 ply sidewall either 2.35 or 2.5 inches wide. any help would be great thanks Brandon

i have had good luck with maxxis minion dhf on front and rear in a 2.5 and maxxis highrollers 2.5. if you can find them in the 60 compound they will last longer.

I've run a combo of Minions and Highrollers and have been very happy.

Sidenote: A friend of mine was too lazy to change tires and did The National on a hardtail with Hookworms. It was pretty funny, and he only flatted once.
