NZer wants riding partner(s) for visit to Santa Monica/Barbara

Hi all,

I'm heading to LA for a week (26 Aug - 4 Sept) on my way to Europe for a wedding, was supposed to be climbing in Yosemite, but that's fallen through. So Plan B is bring the bike and hit the trails. I've heard there's some pretty good riding near Santa Monica and Santa Barbara, so I was planning on spending a few days at each spot. I like all kinds of riding - long days, singletrack, technical up and down. Is there anyone out there who wouldn't mind me joining them for a bit of riding and local knowledge?

Santa Barbara, ohh we got some technical DH for ya. We have some lung burning climbs too, but you can find another guide for that ;)

pm me if you need a S.B. guide, and bring a bike bell, we have alot of hikers here too.
