...Has led me to want to get into it! I have a great bike for it but don't know where I can find a course. What's closest to DC if anything?

4X on friday and dual slalom on saturday.
And the closest place to ride 4X is the local BMX track.

NOVA's track is 26" friendly.

If you're looking for races also keep an eye on the south forums.

Hey M.D. it sounds like our kids will be racing each other at S.S.

Peter will be on a red Specialized SX and I'll be on a blue and white Haro. If you see us give me a yell.

I rode there last night. The people there were really cool. All ages of riders from 4 to guys in their 50's and 60's. I didn't know what to expect exactly. It was a lot harder physically than I would have thought. By the time I got all the way around the track I was pretty winded. Some of those kids were frickin' flyin'. So goes my dreams of grandeur and racing super stardom.

After about 2x around the track that's what I did. 1/2, rest, 1/2. It's a lot different than steadily grinding away on an xc climb, for sure. Hopefully I'll make it out again this week.
