I posted ashort version of this in the lounge
So As I was riding to work this morning I was on a bad part of road, and a particulary bad section i wanted to go out and go wide , but there was too much traffic and I hit this Bad pot hole . Hopped my Front wheel over it , but the rear wheel did not fair so well.
I bkew outthe rear tire and actually cut the rear tire some. The tire is also Toast , but that is where Tyvek is you friend! Fortuanatly that tire was about to be retired ( worn out ).
this wheel has been always been a problem. Had it de-tention on me before, and it just never would stay true. so When I got home I got outthe tension meter to check the spoke ( since I do all my own weel work ) the Tention was a little on the high side.
IT is an Auroura rim laced to a Campy Centaur hub with wheel smith spokes
