BOXXER 8"?

Can someone explain to me what the steps are to convert the Boxxer Team from 7" to 8 " and how difficult is it and the time it takes to make the conversion

Easy sell the 7" you have and buy a new 8" everything else would be to expensive.

Someone was asking about that a while ago...

It would be too much of a pain to do it. You'd have to buy new internals (springs, damper rods and cartridges...or whatever RockShox uses) and then modify the bushings in the lowers which is a pain in itself. Then, if that worked, who knows if the fork would be solid enough. The new forks have stronger lowers.

I'm sure vitox will jump in sooner or later to give additional info.

Although, it would be interesting for someone here to be the guinea pig and try it. The stanction tubes should be the same length and the lowers are the same length.
