i am sellingto a guy in portugle and he need my bank onfo to wire money.
good bad?
should i western union?

I don't deal outside of U.S. becuase there is no way to pursue in a civil court if something goes wrong. Western Union may work.

FYi... to wire money, you do need that info. I am not saying it isnt some kind of scam, just saying. Your bank's routing # is on the bottom of every check as well.

its true that number is necessary.. but i wouldnt give it out.
if you have that number and name, it can be used to withdraw money from your account (not an easy task, but possible).
in fact you are being asked for the same information the "i´ve got 80 millions to share" scammers ask...

Yup... use PayPal. Take the hit and think of it as insurance.

Being in another country, I routinely use Mt-100 (bank routing) money transfers to deal with banking back at home.
It is completely safe for both parties, as your bank should only let somebody deposit money, not withdraw, and it leaves a papertrail that can be followed back to both parties. I used this method often to pay for bike parts/shipping from other countries, before getting a paypal account.
