Hey Tahoe locals (kidwoo, dfinn...anyone else). I'm headed to the lake tomorrow and want to take a swim, but a week or so ago I heard that there had been a big sewer spill into the lake and some of the north shore beaches were closed. Does anyone know if it's been cleaned up yet? Is it safe to go into the water, or is it still filled with corn eyed finless brown trout??

Depends on where you are. Tahoe Vista West and from Incline east should be fine. Just avoid Kings beach.

They've been trucking out beach sand the last few days. I'm in Carnelian bay and one of me office mates goes swimming after work. He's fine.

i went swimming int the lake and got sars.

I went for a post-N*-swim today at a beach in tahoe vista and didn't see any poo.
