this sucks, i took my bike to the sun city bike shop on july 2nd. I had asked for a normal tune up, what i got was disaster, they had told me on tuesday was that it would cost 80 dollars to get it fixed up with a new chain and cables, they said it would be done on wednesday morning, while installing the cables and chain they found out that the pedals were loose and took them apart to see what the problem was, my bottom bracket was in several peices so they said it will cost 140 dollars, said it would be ready on thursday morning, i called on thursday afternoon and it still was not done, they said it would be done on friday morning, once again, i called on friday afternoon and it still was not ready. later that day i get a call from my grandparents asking if i was ready to go, they said to meet with them in san diego on saturday morning at ten a.m....... so pretty much the bike shop f*cked up and now im stuck bored as hell in the middle of no where without transportation to the beach, god really does hate me.........

Dude, you are blaming the bike shop for your bike being jacked up. They didn't break the stuff, you did! Blame yourself for not keeping up on maintenance.

And the verdict is in, appearantly God does hate you.

I would advise you to start learning how to work on your bike. Not only will you save money on repairs but it will help you avoid getting screwed by sellers. Though there is some bad karma in store for the guy who sold you the bike.

I made that same mistake once, actually it was the first "nice" bike I purchased. I learned very fast how to work my own shizit with that piece I bought. Good luck dude.
