where is good LA riding?

i used to live in LA but moved about 4 years ago to MA, anyway im goin back to visit , and was wondering where some good dj spots/trails are around studio city, or possibly the palisades, but not far outside of those areas, asw i will not have a car, and will only be getting rides with friends.

id be down for a trip to kenter over the weekend, Im in hollywood. we can work something out, no prob gettin over to you and driving out, but i got car and no bike rack.
