well i have been searching for awnsers for a couple hours now and i cant find anything that tells me how to change the springs or oil. i purcased the xtra firm springs from go-ride, and a bottle of 7.5 weight, and am thinking about using something a little heavier like some 10, or 15 wt, any thoughts on that?
i am a 220lbs rider on a 04 heckler, and cannot find anything on fork setup. i am very mechanicly inclined, but have never really worked on my own bikes, and that is now gonna change. if anyone can brake it down for me i can problly figure it out fast. i cant wait to get this setup for my weight. putting the new 400lbs spring on my fifth as we speak.
thanks
morgan

Some of the instructions/concepts on this guide can be applied to your fork. Goto the changing springs section.

http://www.go-ride.com/tips.html#

Changing oil is easier.

You unscrew the top caps, compress the fork a little, then turn it upside down to let the oil drain out.

Goto the Marzocchi site in the technical section for a list of the oil level tables for their forks.

Since you weigh 220, you will most likely need to add a little more oil than the listed level that Marzocchi has. After you fill to the oil height suggested by Marzocchi, add more oil in increments of 5cc/5ml until the fork feels good for you.

thanks Jayridesacove, i will have no problems now. i have done motercycle forks before, and most of it is the same. i also cant beleive what a differance in 50lbs of spring rate will to to your ride. i am syked to get this thing dialed in. :thumb:
