Hello everyone! I know this is a bit late in the season, but as a rider for Team SpeeDH for the past 2 seasons, me and my team manager have realized that we need some new members for the team. Team SpeeDH has been around for about 5 years and has previously included rider from all parts of the country. Also we accept ALL types of riding. From the standard DH, Mt. X, Trials and XC, to the more recent changes such as dirt jumping, slope style and skate park comps. Don't really "DH" or "XC" but can bust big jumps, bar spins, session skate parks really well and all that? Great! we'll look at you as well. As far as locations... we are looking mainly now for riders on the east coast and even close to Canadian area who are racing in the expert classes and above of riding. Riders will be expected to race as many competitions as possible, and to keep in touch with me and the team manager Chris Maida(New Jersey, Rotec9@aol.com). However we are not looking for people trying to get on just for the sponsorship deals. We want motivated and competitive riders who are serious about their racing careers and most of all wanting to gain skills through experience. Our current sponsors are Azonic, OURY Grip, Truvativ, Magura, Sun Rims, and should be getting involved with Michelin and a few others as well. Sponsors are not around just to be able to get good parts at very good deals; they are there to support you while you get the word out about them. They expect communication between the riders and the company, with feedback about racing results and about the product. We are looking for “riders with resources” who can give something to the team. It would be a bonus push for your acceptance to the team if you can help out with new jerseys, websites, etc. What we need for you to do is to send me your race resume to PBbike679@aol.com. Pictures would also help in the reviewing of the resumes.

Thanks a lot and Good Luck!!
Peter Botton

Wait - you want new guys on the team, expert, semi-pro, and pro, but they need to buy their own jerseys. I think many will pass.

you expect team managers to buy everyone jerseys? we dont have the bucks for that. a team is just that. a group of riders who support each other at the races, support the sponsors in turn for the deals on products. people dont get on teams to get free jerseys. pros even have to pay for stuff once in a while. if you dont wanna help out your team, you wont last. so instead of coming on here calling it a scam, just keep your words to yourself and keep searching for free stuff. even better, get on your bike.......
