Here's why:
I had my 03 DJ2 set at slowest rebound for, well, DJ. Now I want to speed up the rebound for trail riding and the internal dial is stuck. Won't turn either way. (Funny, the tech manual says CCW for faster rebound, Marz tech guy says CW for faster rebound) Regardless, I think it's stuck because I had it set at absolute slowest setting and I want to see if I can "re-set" it some how.
-OR-
If it is forever stuck at the slowest rebound setting, will a lighter oil like 5 wt or even 2.5 wt speed up the rebound? (I have 15 wt in it now) I know it will speed up compression...
-AND-
I realize that the best solution is a fork that's designed for high-speed bump/trail performance, but that's not an option right now.
Any tips or comments?
