This about sums it all up
Massachusetts Democratic Rep. Barney Frank said the legislation in the Schiavo case was "a mix of ideology, religious zealotry, and political pandering -- it was one of the worst legislative witches' brews that we have ever seen."

yet another case where you have to believe (delude yourself) in order to see the viewpoint of the religious right as represented by frist.

I agree her feeding tube should have been removed. But you guys are so predictable...I just finished watching the morning news, and this thread sounds like a copy of that. Come up with something original. Diagnosis from the Senate floor...Same thing as NBC said.

Ok...how about something like, "I don't trust the medical judgement of a doctor who can't tell if a veggie is cooked after 15 years."
Is that better?

Not too sure what a "frother" is. My name comes from the college I graduated from...Auburn University where their battlecry is WarEagle. I graduated in 2000. I am also in the military and liked the avatar. Let me know what a frother is and we can talk more.

Thanks for the welcome...I realize I am a noob when I don't know what half of the acronyms are. I definately tend to the right, but not raving and loony. Anyway, I will be looking to take pot shots when they are deserved.
