not the film, sickboy, but actually doing it.

in a round-a-bout way, starting here at artiloop (http://artiloop.blogspot.com/2005/06/soviet-america.html), then meandering to the maryland rail site (http://www.mdrails.com/Marc.html), then reading up on electronic railroaders, it seems that there have been events in the last few years where shutterbugs were shutdown in the interest of "national security" (most incidents i found were in canada, no less).

is this nothing more than hyper-sensitive-gotta-get-anyone-whose-eyes-aren't-front isolated incidents, or are we now entering into a climate of uber-police-state paranioa?

Airplane websites are full of stories of planespotters getting shut-down by pricks with a badge. I imagine it's the same for trainspotters. They're just sad old men in anoraks, leave 'em alone.
