Black Rock Trails, Oregon

I am in Salem, and might go to the black rock trails tommorrow. Are there lifts or do I need a shuttle. Has anyone been there; how is it?

I looked at pics of the basic training trail and i think i could do that on my azonic evolution.

The trails there are very well built and well thought out. You will need to hike to the top. I think there are maps available on the internet or probably at santiam bike in dallas.

So I have to walk up ? Is there a way to drive up or could Iride up?

hike is probably the wrong word... its just a fire road so riding is no problem

yeah, Santiam bikes is in Salem. they have good maps there. you'll want one if you haven't been up there before. it's a hike. you can go to http://blackrockfreeride.org/ and post on their message board and i'm sure someone would show you around. that would be the best way to ride up there for the first time.
