hi all,
I need to fit a longer brake hose to my Hayes Mags with a G2 caliper. The chap at the lbs sold me a Hayes line with a 45ish degree kinked banjo and said that was the new type of fitting. Will it work or should I just go back and swap for an inline type a la original? Thanks.

Are Ya Sure Yer G2's Dont't Use A Straight Fitting And Not A Banjo? All Mine Are Straight. As Far As The Lever End Just A Simple Mag Compression Fitting And To Keep Things Clean And Simple, Use A New Nut Too.

Mine's was a straight fit too. I didn't really believe the lbs chap totally - hence my post for help. I then checked Hayes' site, well, under "Hose" section, a photo of what I bought was shown, so I tried it on and seems to fit. I have shorten the hose before so no problems at the lever end. Thanks.
