Avent cycles has been making BMX stuff for a while. Anyone know about thier new line of MTBs?
Anyone ever seen/ridden this frame? What do you think? They go for $650 and come with 6 inch travel, horst link, and manitou swinger 4 way coil shock. Sounds like a killer deal if the frame is any good.

If the geo checks out and they have a decent warranty I'd say go for it. Let us know if you like it.

This is something you could post in the DH forum to get more feedback on it. I'm sure some people there have some info on it.

it looks pretty solid for the most part 650 or w.w. is a killer price...one thing that looks a lil sketchy is the rear triangle, it is really skinny...test it out if you can, if not pray you get a warreenty..i have spoken..

Looks decent. I wouldn't be worried about the rear-end. The turner four-bars have skinny looking rears but hold up. Besides, the chainstays look plenty burly. The seatstays don't need to as strong.
The bike in the pic either has a silly tall standover height or the shock is tiny. Or both. Check the i2i/stroke/leverage ratio of the shock and make sure they're not using a 1.5" stroke shock or something.
Otherwise it looks like a great deal/
