I guess this could be the correct place for my bike. Here are some pictures of my new Salsa Trials Chainguide that is a quarter inch thick. What do you think.

Bashring :D not bashguard. Bashguards go on mod bike bottom brackets.

O hell no. That is just my trial bike. I just dont need that third ring anymore so why not get the Bashring for protection from logs. And I didnt want some skinny one so I went with the 1/4 inch thick one which just happen to be the Salsa Trials Ring.

You like that. Its actually a really sweet bike. But I am saying that coming from a Jekyll that bobbed like crazy. But I feel more confident on this bike. :thumb:

my salsa bashring sucks! it's crapy alu. and it gets tweeked so easy. i guess for trail use that might work ok, but if you start really using it, get a E-13. i'm so much happier since i switched.

Probably not the right time to spell the word "trail" wrong.
And yes its a bashring, not a chain guide.
And yes the pictures are....absolutely gigantic?   ?

Yeah, do us a favour and resize to something a bit more sensible.

If your talking about my dial screws, my mechanic dialed in the high screw all the way. And the front der. is actually kinda annoying because it attaches to the bottom bracket and the piece that suspends it, the chain rubs on it when it is in like 1 and 1.

Your bashring would look even more badass if the teeth were bigger, like this one:

And before anyone says it; my front derailleur is not too high, it shifts just fine, and it has to be that high to accomodate the travel of the swingarm on this extended travel RFX.

Wow that one is bad arse. Looks like it was custom.

It is custom; I made it. I make my living as a machinist.

That is really sweet man. You should start selling off those things to your friends. That would hurt to have one of those to the back of the calf. Ouch. How much would you sell one if you started doing that?

You'd make any law firm proud to have your man boobies on board.
Your pathetic atempt to attain incindiary status a la "Pete" is too childish and misdirected. If you're going to lash out at people you don't know, at least make it worth while and/or wait till you're provoked.

I was talking about the actual height of the f. mech
It sits too high over the rings, but since it is e-type, it's moot.
:nopity: someone doesnt tune their bike like you do
thats a sweet ride you got there, and that bashring is crazy sweet!!!! i love it!
