I am considering going to college in Flagstaff and I'm wondering what type of riding there is around the area. I am most interested in dirt jumping and Downhill/freeridng. Thanks in advance.

Here's the deal on Flagstaff:

1. Flagstaff RULES!!!!
2. See #1

Seriously, it doesn't get much better than Flag. Miles and miles of beautiful trails and every sort of riding imaginable. VERY good bike scene, lots of beautiful, friendly girls, great weather, etc., etc..
I just got back in Phoenix tonite after spending the last 5 days up there (without my bike) and I can't wait to get back up there. It really does rule.
Oh yeah, they are also building a "bikes only" concrete park in Flagstaff. They already have one of the best skateparks in the state and now they are giving the bikes their own place to ride. GO TO NAU!!!

Gotta agree with above statement. Flag is an awesome town! Very cool, laid back place to hangout. Bikes everywhere.
