12' drop 25' gap (i think) after i get my wheel trued up i'll be back on the mtn with a camera and hopefully not have such a bruised ass afterwards.

don't even need more speed. i was stuck in 'race mode' and i absorbed the take off. pull up a bit and i'll be set. i'm just gonna go faster to make up for it though.

The wheel was brand new. It's an alexrim something or other, really similiar in build to an MTX, but thicker. gave it a spin after i got back to my bike and was still perfect. I've done 2 DH since then and just had them true'd and they were damned near right on. These rims rock.

Hopefully i'll have time this weekend. but i hurt my wrist and thumb last week and they are still tender. and every weekend i have to take my gf 2 hours away to see her brother in the hospital....so not so much jou time...:(
