Does anybody have the head angles for the ASX with a Breakout on it?
I've been to the Yeti site, and Iv'e done a search. I even e-mailed the company, but haven't heard anything yet. :(

The frame hast two rear travel settings, (ballpark 6" and 7"). The fork has two settings as well (5" and 7"). I'm looking for the Head angle in all the fork / rear travel setting combinations. So if it is 67* when running 7" and 7", what is it when running 5" and 7", 7" and 6", 5" and 6"?

Thanks! :)

Go here: http://www.yeticycles.com/1_bikes/asx_work.html#

Click on the "Geometry" tab on the bottom of the left and you'll get the geometry information ! ;)

BTW, the head angle depend on the fork axle-to-crown length too, example I had a Breakout Plus on my AS-X and the head angle was 67 degree, than I replaced the Breakout with a Dorado DH fork and now my head angle is 66.5 degree, because the Dorado is a shorter fork with the same travel.

Yeah, I had already seen taht, but are the numbers given there with the rear travel at 6" or 7"? Hence the original question.

The info is on the Yeti site as stated. You notice it lists 2 head angles? One is in the 7" rear setting and the slacker one in in the 6" setting. If you have a 67 degree head angle with the breakout and switch it to 5", your head angle will be about 69 degrees-1 degree change per inch of travel.

I just put a 36 on an ASX yesterday. Coming from a talas. HOLY F' ME BATMAN! Does it feel good! Withth e Talas it felt like a badass trailbike. Now it feels like a small travel DH bike. The angles are PERFECT! I REALLY want to go race Fontucky now. Best bike ever for that course!

Now THAT sounds like an awesome setup.
