12 hour rules?

I am curious what the rules for a solo rider at a 12 hour race are? I would like to do one, maybe?? Time rules, eating rules/support crew? Thank you for the info!

Not many rules. Some promoters do make you have at least one crew member though. Other than that, no, ride as much or as little as you want, eat when you want and smile when you want.

Some promoters say you have to complete "x" number of laps to be considered a finisher. Other than that, ride as much as you can. It is definately fun to do 12hr solo. I will be doing my third 12hrs @ Snow Summit solo this year. I usually eat a little something between every other lap. We usually have a large group of riders at the event so there are always alot of people in our pit for support.
