Lodging at Massanutten

I talked to Massanutten today and was told that if you are racing you can get lodging for $65 on the moutain. 540-289-4914 http://massresort.com/2003/Lodging/index.htm

I am heading up friday morning to practice. Anyone else planning on being there early friday?

I too contacted them, I was surprised at how cheap is it...

"The rates for those participating in the Downhill bike races is $60. per
night or $64.20 per including taxes. We still have availability. Thanks,
Bob, with hotel reservations."

I'll be there around 12 hopefully..

What kind of rooms do they have (i.e. single/double, any amenities, etc???)

11:30 am: Start list posted at the Base of Lift #6
NOON: Downhill Start

anybody know of any good camping spots? I was thinking about camping at the bottom of the lift. anybody else have the same idea?

another reminder: you have to tell them you're there for the race at the lodge to get the cheaper rate. if you don't tell 'em it's 2wice as much!
