LX spider on XTR cranks?

I think the 97 & 98s used the splined spider. I have an compact LX spider and would like to use it on a pair of XTR cranks. Just don't know if they are compatible.

well i have 00s and they are pressed on.

I'd say if you have the syder, take it to a shop and try it on some XTRs.
