I'm pretty sure Kanter has Deemax on his Fly. Give me a PM.

I run Dee Maxxes on my Fly with the floater but I have the older style floater that pivots on the frame. The newer Fly floater pivots on the axle. Call Foes.

Mine is an 03 also. Why would there be a problem running Dee Maxxes? Mid 03 and on the Fly floater pivoted on the axle instead.

If floater pivots on the axle (2003 and 2004) qr-axle kit from Mavic is needed. On the older models (2002 and 2002.5) any Deemax axle can be used

I was worried about the length of the bolt used for the rear axle. The added width of the floating brake assembly would make the bolt too short- at least that was my original thinking.

So yours must pivot on the axle then?

yup, sorry for the confusion, it pivots on the axle.
