you did dude, I plan on hitting up whistler a few times this summer, I have the hitchmount lock, and then your post made me realize I might come out of the hotel and just see the hitch mount and no rack!

As long as your bike is safe with you in the room, i would be less worried about the rack.... Plus if your stuck in whistler with no way to get your bike home, i guess you'd have to stay.....
