Some dude that was not a Bootleg Canyon local gave my bud Christopher Herndon a ride to the top and drove off with it in the back. Email me bizutch@hotmail.com or call 828-877-5790 (Sycamore Cycles) if oyu have any idea who the person was....this happened in the last 6 weeks. Chris said it was an XC guy nice enough to give him a ride up.

Worst part was..it was brand new that day and he only got in 1 run before it happened.

I don't think he actually has the helmet, but he is the guy that got the permission to ride at Roughrider Canyon and runs the Roughrider website/team. He may be able to help you track down who actaully has it. You might also give The Bicycle Company in El Paso a call - (915) 544-2453. They were the ones who were running both races. I would think that they would be able to contact any of the racers if necessary.
