Kinda more pearly.... :)

Can you get it with a different shock? Will it take an e-type derailer?

The Jazz blue was choosen to match Todds Golf what many people don't know is that the green was choosen to match Dante's Yugo:

To answer Kanter's question,
No, it will not accept an e-type derailleur because there isn't a seat tube to mount it to. The 7point is perfectly DH/FR/XC ready. :thumb:

we dont have lift access, but we push our bikes uphill. It works quite well and is well worth the DH and even better when your SHUTTLE.

You dont need a seat tube for a E-type do you?

I like to ride uphill rather than push.

DH bikes are call DOWN HILL bikes for a reason.
They make other bikes for going up AND down hill. You don't need a dh bike to have fun going downhill (or jump or do drops, etc)

It's not green, it's MONSTER GREEN.
I think I remember someone posting a link to some photos of all the colors of Sunday Factory frames, I can't remember who though.

What the hell are you talking about? E-types mount between the frame and bottom bracket. Just tighten it down way hard and it won't slip.

Hmmm, who is the REAL man, the guy who rides the DH bike uphill, or the guy who downhills on the hardtail and smokes his buddies on their DH bikes?
Hmmm, I don't really care, just messing with you guys. :D

E Type goes between frame and bottom bracket cup.

Most guys around here have one bike for everything and most everyone rides a DH/FR bikes for everything. PRIORITIES... I guess.

Dexter! WHERE excactly is this university of casual sex and beer? I'll be going to california sometime next semester, and it sounds like the kind of place one would go out of ones way to visit! (if it's in cali, that is)

UCSB I would guess (U of Cali Santa Barbara)

I'm guess that because there isn't a seat tube, there isn't a cable stop for the front derailleur.

Well, actually you said "frame and bottom bracket." I said frame and bottom bracket cup. ;) I dont see how you could fit a derailer between the BB and frame... grease usally goes in there. :) :) ;) I was just agreeing with ya. Take it easy there, fellow monkey.

Maybe DW or Todd will chime in, but e-type or not, unless the frame is designed to take a front der, it won't. Even with an e-type there is probably no room.

And Kanter props to you for climbing. Personally I would give up an inch of DH performance for a 7Point if I were you, that way you could smoke your buddies up and down the hill.

But if you're set on a Sunday, maybe get a Rholofff??

The Sunday was designed from the ground up to be the best downhill racing frame available on the market. There were no corners cut to make this bike anything but a full blown race bike. This would include using a FD. FD's aren't used on race bikes.

ha, around here if people want to FR on a DH bike, they do it the old fashioned way, by putting an 11-32 cassette on the back and a 36t ring up front. plus it'll get you in shape for SS season.

Yeah, who cares about real riding anyway :p

real riding happens in the day time. when it gets dark, thats the time for camping in the parking lot, drinking copious amounts of beer, and watching 15-year olds doing dirt jumps over flaming bales of hay while their parents cheer them on. the exception of course, is night DH'ing, but that's only once a year... :thumb:

I guess I overgeneralized but yeah the cup your right. I was just wondering if it was hard to understand what I was trying to say. Oh well.
