z2's and discs

Hey, i just got a set of formula mechanic discs for my DS2, and i noticed that under hard braking the disc tabs on the z2 atom 80 ('00) seem to bend outwards. Is this normal? i read elsewhere that 8" rotors will put too much stress on the tabs, but this one is only 6"... should i be worried? :help:

I'd be worried. How much flex and why is it happening. Is there one fixed pad? and is that what's pulling the caliper over? I would think that the rotor was flexy enough that it wouldn't happen. I did not have that problem on my Z2's with Hayes Hydraulic discs.

it's sort of an outward twisting of the tabs, not the caliper... it's not very noticeable until you compress the forkw/ the wheel locked.
