Just picked up my '05 Giant TCR C3! Of course, I have a bit of work to do, with swapping parts over from my TCR Elite, most notably the FSA Carbon Compact cranks, my Ultegra derailleurs, and the Bontrager wheels. But I'm keeping the new 105 STI shifters, as the ones I have are a little banged up.
Sorry, no pics yet, I'm in the process of swapping the parts, but I got sick of working on bikes for a little while.
Hopefully finish it up tomorrow, and it'd be nice to go for a nice break-in ride, since it's so gorgeous out these days.
Love the ride of the carbon bikes...VERY stoked...

I am just starting to look at road bikes and hopefully will get one this spring. Get those pics on here so I can drool and wish I had more money.

Road bikes rule. I just re-discovered how great they were recently, I totally back them now. Nothing beats just leaving your house, and pedaling. I'm not fortunate enough to have trails just out my door, but they're pretty close. I do, however, have some great roads in my area, so that's pretty nice...

No, sorry, still haven't finished it quite up. I've been busy finishing my buddy's new bike, which took a while, plus I've been just kinda beat lately.
I'm getting a new digicam this week, so it'll be my first order of business, I promise.
I did manage to find a red cassette lockring, to match the red of the bike...:) ha ha, it'll be cheesy, but cool.
This week, I promise.

Here she is in all her glory, just finished it up about half an hour ago, unfortunately I'm not gonna be able to ride her until Monday or so of next week. Maybe earlier if I decide to take her up to Sea Otter, we'll see...

Nice! That's pretty low gearing...lots of climbing?

Nice, the other day I built up a few of those for work, but with 105 and Truvative cranks.
I like the carbon with the red, I find that the fork is sort of weird though.

Wussy legs.
No, I find that I'm actually using most of the gears on a given ride with the compact. I had the 11-26 (I think that's the SRAM size) before the cranks, no need to swap 'em until they wear out. Seems to work fine for me, no complaints.
And Chris- Yeah, it was the full 105/TruVativ cranks, I just took all that off, put on my own stuff. I'm kinda particular in the stuff I like to run, so I had a lot of the pieces...the TV cranks were sweet though, it hurt to take 'em off...

I really like the way the fork looks too. Giants sure look nice when they aren't Telekom colors!
Nice, JJ. Were the truvativ cranks those with the sexy as hell polished rings? I never thought rings could be hot. What's the deal with folks putting Bonti on their Giants lately??? I have a friend that did the same on an 02 TCR Team. Nice ride.

Yeah, those were them. Really nice, but I think my carbons were a little nicer.
I just happened to have some Bonti stuff, the stem length I'm playing with still, so we'll see. The colors all seem to somewhat match though...
