Hello,
I am trying to make my 2004 marzocchi 888R a little bit stiffer, does anyone know the oil level measurement and how to change the oil (removing the top adjuster and cap)? this info isn't included in the pdf manual on their website. Also, who sells aftermarket springs for this fork? Any advice is helpful.
thanks, Pat

go to www.go-ride.com and read their tech tuning...it's straight up EVERYTHING you need to know to get it right the first time.

Yeah, then call Go-ride if you need to purchase springs - or anything else. They will set you up proper.

Thanks, that helps. I feel a little dumb now because 10 minutes after i posted I found the oil level on their website, if anyone else is curious about their fork its at http://www.marzocchi.com/spa/mtb/products/oillevel.asp?y=2005&LN=UK&Sito=mtb

Still, go read the go-ride article, it's got lots of tips that will make the whole thing smoother. I don't recommend "trial and error" for getting the caps off.
And no I don't work for them...

yeah, im on their site right now checking that out. I was going to take the caps off myself but I know they dont just pull right off and I agree with you, trial and error isnt what I need.
