hey i am about to be a proud owner of the new evil doc black long. i do mainly urban assault/street and freeride. what would be the best fork for this combo. and all you with the doc what do you run for forks.

rockshox pike would be good, put it to 95mm for street, and rake it out to 140mm for freeride, or a marzocchi z1.

um the doc is designed around asherman jumper/stance static 80mm. the lower the travel the better. go with either one of those 2 depending on funds

get a fox vanilla R. change it internally to 100mm. Thats what I ride, and I couldn't be happier.

umm no it can also be setup for aggressive trail riding with 150 mm travel fork.
150mm fork geometry:
wheels:26 inch
head angle:66 degrees
seat angle:67 degrees
bottom bracket:13.6 inches
which is great freeride geometry. that information is straight from evil. making it a very versitile bike.

I've got my DOC set up for trail riding with '04 Sherman firefly 90-130mm

sweet doc i am going with the stance flow 120 -150 mm so i can run park and free ride drops.
